While I think that Alabama was the better team, I do believe that Notre Dame could made this a lot closer if they had pressured the Alabama QB. The few times they did, he looked terrible.

Also, I have always believed that if a defense is getting the best of the offense the offense needs to speed up the game to get the defense on their heels.

I am definitely not a Nick Saban fan and read where Alabama had to vacate 21 wins from 2005 thru 2007. It does not sound like this was the same thing that Nebraska self reported recently. I wonder if there is anything else like this lingering out there that may rise up in the future.

You can hate on Saban all you want, but watching the execution on both sides of the ball tonight for Alabama was a master class in how to get it done.   I look forward to when the Huskers return to that level of play.
