A division with Nebraska, Purdue, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin? Does anyone else think this sounds a little boring? Call it the "Ambien" division maybe. :) Geography may not always be the best way to go. The ACC did a nice job of balancing their programs into divisions, but came up with better names that sound geographic..."coastal" and "atlantic". Of couse they will be juggling teams as well with additions and departures, but they split schools that are in the same state with others 1000 miles away and it works well. No big complaints from any of the schools or fanbases. Got to be a better way than getting stuck in a big ten group of wallflowers (even Wisc, fine program, doesnt have much sizzle)
Prediction: Rutgers will be a fine addition to the conference
