[Husker] rules changes for 2013 coming

I understand the need for the intentional spearing resulting in an
ejection; however, they need to decide what they are going to call as
"spearing."
I have seen the flag thrown of course for head to head contact, but also
shoulder to head contact, shoulder to shoulder contact, and head to chest
contact. If you are going to eject a player, the player needs to know what
they are going to be ejected for.
Also, an offensive player lowering their head on a defensive player is just
as likely to lead to cognitive problems...in fact, the research is
suggesting that linemen are the most susceptible to the problem associated
with multiple concussions.
