[Husker] Big 10 to increase number of league games.

I believe that it's typically been in the $2 million range.  Better than a road game, but not as good as a home game.  And two neutral field games probably end up being worse than a home and home, because in both cases, the neutral host organization is profiting on either game instead of the schools.

The actual numbers will depend on stadium sizes, of course.  Larger stadium = more tickets sold.  And that's where playing at B1G stadiums is going to be tough to beat, with 3 stadiums that can hold well over 100k.  Nebraska next season will hold over 90k.  Most NFL stadiums are under 70,000 capacity, though JerryWorld can have standing room crowds approaching 100k.

List,

Enjoying this discussion.

Question: does anyone know how much teams get to play in those 'special'
neutral site games like the ones they have down here in JerryWorld?

I could imagine it's not $5M, but maybe enough that these schools might
offset the loss of a home game every once and a while.  And I think the
market would support a LOT more of these.  And there are plenty of empty
NFL stadiums on Saturdays, right?  Basically it could become a preseason
bowl season...
