The LJS wrote an article this year about the changes simplifying the
recruiting contact rules.  Some of them are major changes.  The most
important may be the rules regarding prospect evaluation and contacts.
Programs with money will ramp up their staffs even more to do these
things that were limited in the past.  This will favor programs with
more money, feeding the need for more money.

On the issue of the number of conference games, increasing the number
of conference games means that there is less of a national component.
That makes it harder to rank teams accurately (e.g., for playoffs)
and reduces national exposure for teams like Nebraska that really need
national recruiting.  I don't think more B1G conference games is a
good thing for Nebraska's program.
