If he has had two concussions in the past couple months that is not a good
thing.

The risk of him playing is dependent on two things in my opinion a) the
severity of the concussions, and b) the expertise of the medical staff.

Generally, teams should do a baseline neuro eval prior to the season, then
what you want to see to allow a player to that baseline level on the tasks
before you let them return. When the player returns to baseline, it is felt
that the brain has recovered from the injury. In this case, it could be put
forward that Ball's preseason testing would be low from the previous head
injury. Also players know this is how it works and have been known to
"tank" the preseason testing so they can return quicker.

Regardless, IMHO it is unlikely that Ball completes the season without
another concussion. I hope they are keeping a close eye on him.
