Actually, I saw some Butterworth's-worthy pancakes in this last game, or at
least in the first quarter (that's as far as I got last night in watching
the game since I was gone this last weekend). I suggest watching Seung
Hoon Choi (#77) on some of those toss sweeps to Burkhead. The guy can
motor and seems to like to light up those smaller guys (but then, most of
Idaho State seemed smaller). I think the O-line, once they got untracked
in the first quarter, moved people around pretty well. None of them are in
a Graham or Rimington class, but they were knocking a few people around on
Saturday.

With that said, Wisconsin isn't Idaho State. While I'd like to see
pancakes, I'd settle for holes big enough to squeeze Rex and Ameer through.

And changing the subject just slightly, did anyone notice Eric Martin
rushing the QB this last week? I mean, there was one play in the first
quarter where he simply put his arms out straight and steam-rolled the
tackle on his way to the QB. Didn't even seem to slow him down. I also
noticed several safety and Mike linebacker blitzes. Where have those
been? Its always been said that the Pelini's weren't big on blitzes, but
they came at Idaho State pretty hard. It will be interesting to see if we
can control both Wisconsin's running game and put pressure on Stave. He
didn't react well to pressure this last week against UTEP, so I'm hoping we
can force them to throw more. At least hit him every chance we get. Make
him wonder where its coming from next.
