No.  If they bring in an 'outsider' (and Barry's really an outsider by 
virtue of his many years at Wisconsin), it won't be a former coach or player, 
it will be someone with proven expertise in athletic administration, who will
know that what you need to do is BUILD on and improve what you have, 
not change it.  (And that's what Bill Byrne did, IMHO.  He created the
Tunnel Walk, remember.)

I'm not sure Trev, Williams or Miles are ready for the big chair, and
Rimington has too little experience in athletic administration.  Based on
his handling of the UNO changes, Trev may not have enough finesse and
political skills for the job.
