According to a long time list subscriber in the Minneapolis area, that 1983
game still sticks in the craw of many Minnesota fans.

I was at the 1995 Arizona State game, the Huskers must have had 100 or more players
particpate in the game. They could have easily hung 100 points on them, they scored
63 points in the first half. The only points the Huskers scored in the 2nd half
were on a pick 6 and a 39 yard Matt Turman to Lance Brown pass when Lance was left
uncovered due to a defensive lapse. Matt followed his training, called an audible
and Lance could have walked into the end zone. ASU coach Bruce Snyder was livid,
but he got his revenge a year later when the defending national champion Huskers lost
the Debacle in the Desert by a 19-0 score, with three safeties.
