[Husker] Reviewed call

My two cents: while it's possible for two shadows to touch without the
objects casting them touching, such as when one passes between the sun and the
other object, the reverse is not true. It is not physically possible for
two objects to come in contact and their shadows remain several inches
apart. From watching the replay several times, the shadows of Ameer's foot and
the football seemed to be about 4-6 inches apart all the way through the
replay, plus the ball impacted the turf on one end, with the other end
pointed back and away from Abdullah, which is why it bounced away.

I agree with Tim and Greg, the replay officials pretty clearly botched the
analysis, despite Beth Mowins' assertion during the replay that "you can't
really tell anything from the shadows." Fortunately this didn't affect the
 outcome of the game.

I agree with some of the other comments about her and Joey Galloway...not
impressed with either, though Beth does a much better job when she works the
 Women's College World Series.

That said, I'm looking forward to the rest of this season. If the defense
can get stiffen up a little, the Huskers should be in every game. Right
now only Michigan and Ohio St give me much cause for concern, assuming the
Big Red show up to play 60 minutes every Saturday.

Go Big Red!

I thought it looked closed from the side angle, however, the front shot
showed that it wasn't close. Also, I usually watch the immediate response
from the player and he did not seem to even give a hint that it touched him.
I agree, terrible call.
