I was sitting here waiting for that first post about JP's fiery demeanor. I'm not surprised the comment would lean toward it being fake based on this week's character discussion.

I believe it's not fake and is his way of firing up a team that was faltering. Just because he doesn't do it as a matter of normal ops doesn't make it "showing out."
