[Husker] just a question

I think UCLA's scheme had a lot to do with Nebraska's lack of pressure on
the QB. UCLA's no-huddle forced the Huskers to keep the same players on
the field, rather than rotate them out. Chase Rome seems to be a real force
on the Huskers D-Line, but there is absolutely no way he could have stayed
on the field. I saw Rome play the first series, and then never saw him on
the field again. Did he get hurt or did the Huskers change schemes. That's
probably true of a couple other players as well. I'm not sure that the
Huskers even ran 2 DTs on the field at all times during the game. Seemed to
me that there were times with 1 DT and either an extra LB or an extra DE.

So...how could the Huskers Defense have done things differently? IMHO, and
I'm definitely not an expert, they should have done what UCLA did...Go after
the QB and not worry about giving up the big play. It seemed to me that the
Defense was in "bend but not break mode". I think that actually tired the
defense down. All else fails, and they could have done what some other
teams have done to the Huskers...have some players get leg cramps. :)
