I just wish we would go back to talking about the coach's coaching
abilities.
For instance, the defensive line. Much has been made in the past about the
relative lack of QB pressure (in the post-Suh era, at least), and some have
suggested this is by design.
Is bad scheme the problem with our DL, or is it just a lack of talent? I
was optimistic about the line entering the season, as I mentioned here, and
have not seen anything good outside of Eric Martin's play. We have plenty
of experience in Ankrah (he's flashed this year), Meredith (invisible), and
Baker (hearing complaints about him, too), but do they just have "bad"
experience, or are they just not talented enough? Is Papuchis to blame?
Carl? Bo?
So many questions, so few answers.
