There is no doubt Pelini was outcoached in the UCLA game, but I think Abdullah not seeing much action in the second half is on Tim Beck. He was outcoached as well, which goes along with your original point about Pelini's assistants. 

I don't see where this thread involves nasty personal attacks. And I've noticed many of the "confrontations" on this list seem to involve the same usual suspects. It's probably unfair to label the whole list for the actions of a few contrarians. My opinion on this is probably worth less than .02.

Wow, this list has changed a lot in the last 12 years.  Pretty sad when someone posts an opinion and it turns into a nasty personal attack by individuals who have a different opinion.  My original post asked "How long will Pelini get a free pass?"  I didn't say he needs to be fired or replaced.  My main issue, pointed out in my original post, is more about his choices for DC and OC and their lack of experience in such important rolls.  
Disagreeing with Pelini, his actions, choices and decisions does not make one a disloyal Husker fan.  I don't love any other team in any other sport.  I follow other teams.  I won't pay $50 to go see the Jags up the street but gladly buy an airline ticket, hotel, rental car, and up-charged tickets to see my Huskers.

Try listening to the national perception of Pelini.  Just because he is "linked" to coaching vacancies does not mean he would actually get hired or even interviewed.  I for one believe that Pelini was out-coached by Mora and it showed by the adjustments in the second half.  Think about this, Abdullah had 113 yards in the first 47 minutes and 0 TOUCHES in the last 13.
