[Husker] Pre-season Poll and the B1G

I think the pre-season hype of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Michigan State is making the conference look bad. Given the plays that moved on from Wisconsin and Michigan State it was not reasonable for them to be ranked so high early on.

Michigan was over hyped for another reason. Yes, they had a good season last year, but the real question is can they sustain it? And I do not think that they can. They may beat Nebraska this season, but I don't think that they will do as well as they did last year.

Early season losses is now making the conference look weak. One could claim that Nebraska was over hyped, but they are predicted to finish third in their division, not the conference, but the division. So, I don't think that Nebraska was over hyped.

Personally, I would have dropped them to 20 to 22, but I have always found it hard to put a team with a loss over a no loss team.

As for Coach Pelini, he has sustained it over the past seasons. I do not believe that he is satisfied with 9 win seasons, but it sure beats 5-7. And we have to remember that Nebraska played in back to back Big-XII championships before leaving for the B1G. The B1G did not show Nebraska any love with their schedule. Nebraska did well last season, and things will get better.
