Steve,
I agree with your run comments. I don't see the B1G as being bad as they were overrated and ranked way to high in the preseason. Nebraska was in the right spot, but Wisconsin and Michigan were ranked way too high. Being that high in the polls and losing early makes the conference look bad.

I don't the Nebraska loss to UCLA is that bad in the larger scheme of things. And both Southern Miss and UCLA are decent teams. If Nebraska plays this way against their next two opponents or if Arkansas State and Idaho State were the first two games and the D gave up huge numbers, then I would be concerned.

UCLA had success on offense.

I thought that NU abandoned the run just as it seemed to be taking
ahold late in the game.  It seems like that is not the first time
I've had that impression.  Granted, it seemed frustrating the way
TO would stick with the run, but it seems as Beck could use some
of that patience.

The best hope for NU is that the B1G looks to be not that good.  I
guess that's good for this year, but not so great for the long term.
