Thanks all for the explanations, and for the stats Mike. I didn't realize he had played in that many games. Was thinking he had already missed 4 or even 5. I hope if he comes back he can avoid any further injury the rest of the year.
I am optimistic about this weekend, provided the Blackshirts show up and not the group that played at UCLA. If the D plays well and the offense holds on to the ball, I can't see MSU holding the score down in the teens.
