[Husker] Huskers vs. Penn State at 2:30 on ABC/ESPN2

The good news is that MSU's offense would have a hard time fighting its way
through a damp nose tissue. Ok, maybe they could handle that, but their
average points scored against top 25 defenses is not on the high side.
This defense will be the biggest test thus far for the Husker offense this
year (in my opinion) and in the back of our minds is probably Ohio State.
MSU will match up with Nebraska with regard to physicality so the question
is -- who will blink.
They've been up and down this year as a team, more so than Nebraska IMO. On
the other hand, they have a physical offensive line and beefy running
backs. If they can push our defensive front around and cook their recipe of
a slow, physical football game ("old man football" as Missouri would
categorize it) then Nebraska may be in some trouble.
If on the other hand we shut them down, dare them to throw and make key
offensive and special teams plays, I see Nebraska over MSU by 10-14 points
in a game very similar to last year.
The intangibles are that the blackshirts seem to be gaining momentum and
the linebacking core is showing at just the right time. Having Fisher
shooting gaps to tackle in the backfield or for short gains is a good omen.
My early in the week he must be smoking something prediction? NU 20 MSU 6.
