Heraclitus said you cannot step into the same stream twice, though Bill
Snyder is attempting to disprove that down in Manhattan.  Wouldn't it
be ironic if the lack of a Big Twelve championship game is what keeps
KSU out of the National Championship game?  

Given how bad Ohio State made the Huskers look, and how OSU just barely
won the next two weeks, I don't know that the Huskers are ready to compete 
for a Big Ten championship, much less a national championship.  Next week's
visit by Michigan will be challenging, but in the Big Ten home teams are
expected to win.  

The defense looked better today, but was that really the defense or just
an ineffective if not outright inept game plan by Northwestern?
