I was thinking more of Marvin Sanders. Its hard to tell from outside but
there's an off coincidence of defensive success in correlation with his
presence or absence.

With regard to the defensive coordinator, I have to wonder how much
influence they would have under Bo? He's the defensive coach and it has
never been clear that he turns the scheming or planning loose to his
defensive staff.

One positive note is that I get the feeling that Tim Beck can really turn
the dogs loose, provided they quit turning loose of the pigskin. A lot of
our record level offensive yards under Callahan were what I would classify
as dead calories - pointless achievements late in games that were out of
hand. I like what he is doing and should he get individual execution at the
level it needs to be sense an immense potential lurking.

At any rate, I don't have any validation for these thoughts and they're
just opinions and conjecture. But at this point given all the elements that
are airborne, nothing much would surprise me with regard to implosion and
overhaul, scraping by and getting another year or winning out and
salvaging.

This craziness is why we watch I suppose.
