If Bo has many more games like this, his days are numbered.  I've always 
wanted to believe that he was the guy to lead us back, but a 5th year 
coach losing like this to a one-dimensional offense is just 
inexcusable.  This team is reverting to Callahan-era mediocrity, and I 
don't see the slide ending any time soon.  I just can't fathom how bad 
the defense has become over the course of the last 3 seasons, at the 
helm of a defensive-minded coach.

My outlook has become pretty pessimistic over the last few years when it 
comes to Nebraska football.  I don't want to be so negative, but I can't 
help but have zero faith in this coaching staff.  Maybe my expectations 
are set too high, and maybe I'm just another spoiled Nebraska fan, but I 
can't help but feel that Pelini is ever going to turn us into a 
consistent top 15 team.  When was the last time we finished anywhere 
near that high?

I have to wonder if Dr. Tom saw this coming, and didn't want to be 
around for the inevitable shitstorm that could be brewing over the next 
year or two.  I don't blame him.
