I read a story on SI.com (I think)  about the AD at Southern Miss and the 
epartments problems.  It basically said Arrowhead offered 2 million for the 
ame and then NE was told it would go to the highest bidder - hence the 2.25 
illion number - the same as the buyout for their coach.

 What happen to the proposal to have the game in Kansas City?
.  Arrowhead may not have been available.
  Arrowhead may have wanted too big a cut.
  Arrowhead seats less than Memorial Stadium will next year. 
  (Just under 80,000 as opposed to around 92,000 after the latest expansion.)
