When this idea was reported by Steve Sipple a couple of weeks ago, Sipple mentioned that Nebraska netted over $5 million from a home game.  Parking, advertising, and concessions all add up.

$2.1 million to move the game from Hattiesburg to Lincoln.

They used to say that a home game was worth $2-3 million to the school,
and about $2 million to the Lincoln economy.

This would imply that UNL's rake is significantly above that now.
With a stadium that will hold around 92,000, if the average ticket
price is $50 that's $4.6 million.

This also gives the Husker 8 home games, including the first 5.
UCLA at home will likely be their first big challenge.
