[Husker] Season in Review and Congratulations to the Huskers!

Well, they did it. They won out. Coach Pelini got the team to stay focused, over come adversity, and win the Legends Division. Congratulations to the team! My hat of to all of you!

It wasn't always pretty, and it was nail biting at times, but you did it and I am very proud of all of you.

I think that this team has finally gelled. When Rex Burkhead went down the offense needed to find itself. Through out the season they did it. Then when the team needed a spark, Rex took the offense on his shoulders. He is a STUD. There is no question about it. To watch him carry the pile to a first down was amazing. Had he been healthy for the UCLA, game Nebraska may have won it. It this first road game in which the offense was still trying to find itself.

So Nebraska's two losses were to the Pac-12 South Division Champion and a (so far) undefeated Ohio State, yet another road game. No too shabby a season. And regardless of how the B1G is down this season, Nebraska had a tough road through it. It was front loaded with their toughest in conference opponents with them all being back to back. Minnesota was their easiest conference game. My hat off to Iowa for playing Nebraska tough. It was good to see Nebraska earn the conference win.

Personally,  I am rooting for Michigan as I am not a big Urban Meyer fan. I won't get into the reasons for that as this is a Nebraska list.

I believe being on field turf at the Lucas Oil Stadium favors Nebraska. It plays to their speed. Being on turf and will  all the weapons healthy on offense Nebraska should score a lot. Losing Baker Steinkuhler and Justin Jackson hurts, but Nebraska shows that it can handle adversity.

I say that Nebraska wins big.
