From watching it, while they really missed Zimmerman (which I never realized how important he was) on defense I thought they abandoned the run way too fast. I think I heard the announcers mention that Baylor subbed on defense only a couple if times throughout the whole game. While I'm not sure they win, the scoreline is much closer if they would have tried to at least wear down the defense. It seemed there for a while everything was a 20 yard pass play, which did not seem to be their strong suit.
