I have it on good authority that this is all part of a 
yet-to-be-announced affirmative action program in which all conferences 
have to have at least two schools with really ugly uniforms. The only 
other course of action considered by the B1G was to have Nebraska and 
Wisconsin wear their alternate uniforms full time. (Reportedly, the Pac 
12 gets to count Oregon as its two.)
