The counter argument is that if Penn State takes the wind in the 4th quarter and
wins the game with a long field goal, then the coach looks like a genius.

TO often noted that the coach receives far too much credit for wins and far too much
blame for losses, but that's why he's paid the megabucks.  Coaches who blame everybody
and everything else for their losses don't earn my respect.
