Can't we just pull a 'Dallas' and say that the years from 2004-2007
did not happen?  That makes it a somewhat more respectable 9 years.

Well, for one, Johnny Rodgers would never have played at Nebraska
under today's player conduct standards.  And Bob would probably have been 
fired for his 'social life'.  But on the bright side, the Huskers might
have won a shelf full of Missouri Valley Conference titles starting
in the late 60's.
