that may have been the cause and IMHO,  a good reason for a heated exchange.

And in this situation, it was totally called for. It appears, if you go back
and look at the play before the exchange, the defense was not set and at
least half the players were looking to the sideline for guidance. That's on
the coaches. I was told by a reporter friend of mine Stafford was yelling
about how the defensive coaches couldn't get organized and that is why the
play failed.
