ESPN's Big Ten Blog gave their offensive player of the week award to Michigan
reserve QB Devin Gardner, 12/18 passing for 2 TDs, 1 INT and 234 yards against
Minnesota. Gardner is no rushing threat like Robinson, though, he had just
21 yards on 10 carries.

Those are good numbers, but came against a mediocre defense.

TM was 16/36 passing against MSU, 3 INTs, 2TDs and 160 yards, but his 205 yards
of rushing (2TDs) against a very good rushing defense more than made up for
the INTs and fumbles. Why? Mostly because Nebraska won the game, I suppose.

Indiana's QB, Coffman, was 21/33 passing for 315 yards, 3TDs and no INTs against
Iowa, and I certainly don't begrudge him getting a shout-out by the Big Ten.
We'll see how well he does against the Badgers, though.
