I guess I drink the scarlet and cream colored kool-aid because I support the team coaches and players no matter who is there. That being said, Antonio Bell is gone and I don't think that it is productive to speculate at why he left. We all know that Coach Pelini gets intense on the sidelines. Who knows, maybe after Antonio Bell deals with whatever he needs to deal with, he may come back on the team. I will cross that bridge if I have too, but not before.

As for Nebraska's clock management against MSU and going for it on 4th and 11, I was thinks what a dumb idea this was. At the time, I thought it was the game. A stop and momentum shifts to MSU and Nebraska may not been able to get it back. But once they got it, I thought it was a great idea. As for when to kick a field goal. I was hoping that Nebraska was playing for a TD and not a FG. As long as there is time on the clock and downs to go, why not take your shots at the end zone? Since they were close enough they could always try for the FG on fourth down. I think that Nebraska did it right and it was not too risky.

I am glad that Nebraska is playing Penn State in Lincoln. This may be a close game, but I believe that Nebraska will win it. I too am glad that Nebraska has gone to a no huddle offense. I have always felt that the up tempo offense gets the other team's defense on their heals. With a decent running game, big plays will open up, while the offense can keep moving the ball down the field. Penn State is playing well and I am sure that they want revenge for last year. Nebraska has shown that they can come from behind and are not easily rattled.

The game the has me on 'upset alert' is Minnesota in two weeks. After playing Michigan, Michigan State, and Penn State, Nebraska may have a let down. A few turn overs (and we all know that turn overs are out of the question) and things could get ugly!

Hopefully, Nebraska is taking one game at a time.

So, my prediction is:

NU 27
Penn State 17

Go B1G Red!
