[Husker] Antonio Bell [was: Turnovers]

I watched what happened between Bo and Bell several times. Bo initiated it
by saying something to Bell as he walked off the field and poked his
clipboard in Bells face. That happened first. Bell then started shouting
at Bo. I suspect Bo said something to Bell that really got to him. I find
it ironic that so many people don't have a problem with Bo's "nutting out"
on the sidelines at players, coaches, officials, whoever but have so little
compassion for a player who reacted likewise when provoked. I know nothing
of what the coach player conditions are at NU but I'd venture a guess that
this is not the first time a player left because of Pelini. Quite a few
players have left in the last few years with no explanation of why.
"Violation of team rules" is the oldest and biggest in sports for a player
to disappear into the sunset. I'll bet my last month's paycheck (I'm
retired so no longer get paychecks, Hah) that he was kicked off because of
the sideline spat with Pelini. If Pelini, supposedly an adult, keeps doing
it w/o consequence, why not give a player the same break.

Having said that, I have noticed that Bo has improved his sideline behavior
this year. He is intense and tells the officials what he thinks and that is
great as far as I'm concerned. I do wish he wouldn't berate/yell at players
on the sideline for all the world to see when they make mistakes. Better to
take them into the huddled mass of players and point out their mistakes out
of the public eye.

A wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring one
another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own
pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of
labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government... -
Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address
