That doesn't matter under the rules, though a flagrant hit might have
gotten him tossed out of the game.  (That doesn't happen as often as
it should, IMHO, and ANYBODY who throws a punch should be out.)

Watched the replay on BTN this morning, the nearest band member was a good 10
feet away, the band was NOT a factor.
