Just be glad I'm not the coach.  I would have sent the field goal unit 
in at about the 20 second mark.  I was worried that Martinez would get 
sacked and NU wouldn't have enough time to attempt a field goal with 
less time.

I think there were two reasons that Nebraska didn't go for the field goal:

1)Go for the win on the road and the tie at home
2)Not sure that Maher would make the field goal.

Nebraska had 6 plays in the last 30 seconds.
