[Husker] NU 28 @ MSU 24

It is perhaps fitting, after a game such as what we just saw, that the Bo
Pelini Postgame Show on the 'Husker radio network is sponsored by the
Nebraska Heart Institute and Heart Hospital. That game will undoubtedly
give the cardiologists a few more patients this week. 8^)

The only good thing about the piss-poor officiating that went against
Nebraska for 3 1/2 quarters, is the possibility of a "make-up" call later.
I think we got one on that pass interference call vs. MSU on the
game-winning drive. Nonetheless, without the leadership Martinez
exhibited, forgetting about the 3 INTs and just playing on, there's no way
NU is in position to benefit from that PI call.

That said, I hope the B1G supervisor of officials takes some corrective
action after reviewing this game. The out-of-bounds personal foul against
Damien Stafford, when he was clearly pushed into the MSU player (and had
nowhere to go, due to the poor stadium management which placed the NU band
so close to the field, despite hundreds of empty seats above field level)
should result in suspensions.

A wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring
one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their
own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the
mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of
good government... - Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address
