Danny O'brien, starting qb who graduated from Maryland, has transferred to
Wisconsin.  Since he has already graduated, he will be able to play right
away.  He will have two seasons of eligibility since he was a redshirt.
Maryland had a new head coach last year, Randy Edsall, and it just seemed
he and O'brien weren't right for each other.  Happens all the time when a
new head coach comes in.  O'brien is very good and Wisconsin is a strong
team in most areas but qb.  And I guess Bielema has some experience with
fitting a new but experienced qb into the system in a hurry.  This sure
appears to be a big boost for Wisconsin in the near term.
