[Husker] Northwestern retains Carmody

Northwestern University announced today they have retained Bill Carmody as
head basketball coach. I bring this up only because Duke assistant, Chris
Collins, had indicated that he would be interested in the position if
Carmody was let go. Collins is the son of NBA coach Doug Collins and is
from my hometown of Northbrook, Illinois (along with former Blue Devil Jon
Scheyer). With Shaka Smart turning down the Illinois job, there is some
pressure by UI alumni to hire the "local" kid with ties to Chicago.

Unless Dr. Osborne has already identified the candidate he wants -- and
that candidate has reciprocated -- the Nebraska BB position will probably
not be filled until the Illinois BB coaching search has ended.
