[Husker] Nebraska contacts a candidate

My guess (hope) is that almost everybody on their short list (aside from Howland, Ben) still has games to play.  I would hope that Jeter wasn't high on their list to begin with.  I wouldn't write him off, but I hope that he's on their second or third tier of candidates that they might consider if/when everybody else says no/laughs/spit takes/finishes rolling on the floor.

For what it's worth, we've been hearing Jeter's name linked to the NU job here in Milwaukee. But some media friends of mine in Lincoln and Omaha told me his name wasn't on the short list. Looks like they've had a change of heart.

According to the Journal-Star, Nebraska has contacted UW-Milwaukee
coach Rob Jeter.  Jeter's team finished its season today with a loss
to TCU in the NIT.
