Pearl is still under a 'show cause' order until 2014, part of the sanctions
arising from NCAA violations that led to his dismissal at Tennessee.

I suspect there are those in the Big Ten that would not like to see him
return to the conference due to lingering resentment over what happened
in 1988.  

This guy sounds like a disaster waiting to happen, I doubt he'll make
Osborne's short list.
