So, after Nebraska's typical showing last night (why was THAT game the
primetime game - the Minnesota - Northwestern game was very
entertaining and both teams were looking for a bit of respect), what
are the chances that Doc survives to the next season? I'm assuming
there will be few coaching vacancies coming up in a week or so, and
that would seem to be a good time to let Doc find a good job
elsewhere, and NU can shop for the next punching bag.

I just don't see Doc getting anywhere. This was his year - his team -
his seniors. Same results as before. What's that definition of
insanity? Something about doing the same thing over and over again,
but expecting different results? Don't get me wrong, I've always
liked Doc and what he's tried to do here. He was very successful at
UTEP but it didn't work here. A lack of recruits - especially local
kids - has doomed NU to looking like a summer league AAU team. And
not a very good one, either.
