[Husker] Alternate Uniforms

My opinions only:



1.  This is the first time (I think) that black will ever be on a football uniform.  I am a traditionalist.  I don't like it.  I was hoping for a red helmet, not a black one.  I was hoping for a soft transition (shading effect) to a standout while N.  This color scheme reminds me of Northern Illinois or Texas Tech.....blah



2.  I do not like the black stripes on the pants for the same reason as expressed in #1



3.  I am not sure about NCAA rules, but have always thought that they should toy with a black patch for the defense.  I know Army gets to wear the patch that identifies the area of study (infantry, airborne, etc.) so I dont know if that is an exception or a rule.



4.  The block black N on the jersey seems contradictory to a "jazzy" alternate uniform.  I was hoping for a "moving N' or a while N with full ears of corn coming in from the left and empty cobs coming out from the right.  Somebody out there is a graphic designer than can make it look like the N is "schucking the corn"



Lets hope it is a one and done thing.
