[Husker] Penn State / NCAA deal

I had no great love for Graham Spanier, either, though I knew a number
of big UNL boosters who liked him very much.

My guess is that there wasn't enough evidence presented to the Grand
Jury last year to indict him, but that doesn't mean he won't ever be
indicted. He's probably not helping himself by opening his mouth
right now.

And while I thoroughly dislike the lack of due process by the NCAA, the
Penn State Trustees run the risk of having the NCAA drop a much bigger
hammer on them by appealing the sanctions. (And I suspect that if
Penn State gets a 4 year OR WORSE death penalty, the Big Ten might just get
the votes needed to expel them, which IMHO is not a good thing.)

The other Big Ten schools should really be working together to try
to ensure Penn State's competitiveness during the sanctions, not
camping outside the dorms trying to poach players! A Penn State
team that goes 0-12 in 2015 doesn't do the conference any good.

But, like the boarding house where the sign said 'Free Beer Tomorrow',
for many coaches now is all that matters, because tomorrow
never comes.
