You're right about the verbiage. Whatever you want to call it, it's serious.
Whatever happens, there MUST some kind of institutional sanctions. Yes, men perpetrated the crimes, but it was the facade of the institution they hid behind and its reputation they held as more sacrosanct than the young men entrusted to Sanduskys care.
