It's just too long a reach to associate Bo Pelini with the word "class".

OK, now that I got a dig in on BP, I think it's universally accepted that
the whole situation at PS is horrible, disgusting, and so sad. I thought
the article was without merit and just someone looking to make noise. The
players in the coverup are disgraced and the ones that are still alive are
charged with crimes and will be put on trial. Civil suits will bankrupt
them (I hope). The idea that since the Sandusky trial is over, PS can "put
this behind them and move forward" (how many times have you read that?) is
wishful thinking...this is just getting started for PS. I'm unsure what
some kind of "institutional punishment" will accomplish. The insane power
of the football program emanated from Paterno and he is gone. But Nebraska
being tarnished because they play PS every year? I don't really think so.
Before all this, PS was the biggest rival on our schedule. More history
and hate there than any of the other Big10 schools. I'd still enjoy just
beating the snot out of them on Saturday afternoon every year.

Dave
