Believe it or not, even in The Mighty Media Bloated Big 10 Football Theater, there exists a ceiling (out there somewhere) that eventually limits the amount of perpetual immorality, corruption, dishonesty and beastie behavior this system can sustain.
The Leaders of Penn State (Grahm Spanier, Curly, Paterno, Sandusky, ect.....) were granted the authority to speak and act in behalf of All Penn State Students, Alumni, faculty and employees. The entire PSU system was known to the world through the example their Highly touted Celebrity leaders.
As each one of those disconnected minions handed over their reputation to those in authority, they did nothing to stop their great leaders who covered up the most beastie of human behaviors upon innocent children in need. All of those who must cling to the Penn State persona are due the Scarlet Letter of shame for helplessly allowing these men to go on. They too must accept the consequences of ignorant consent.
Proverb: "The People perish for their lack of Knowledge"....apparently, the disengaged silent majority at Penn State did not major in Knowledge or standing up for decency. Only McQuery. He should be their new Ceasar.

I do not believe that Penn State should be kicked out of or asked to leave the B1G Conference.
Both the president of university (who did leave UNL to take the position at PSU) and head football coach were fired. How the AD fairs will remain to be seen. It was clear the Coach Paterno had a lot of power in that athletic department.
Penn State will pay a huge price in terms of civil lawsuits and loss of enrollment.
But should the entire institution be punished for this? It was is clear to me that the athletic department kept ties with Sandusky and his foundation when they knew these things were going on. But what of the other professors, administrators, employees, and students that had nothing to do with this?
This is a bad situation all the way around.
As for Nebraska football, having Penn State as the cross conference rival is a no win scenario. The program is tarnished and may not survive. Nebraska is out in no man's
land here. However, after seeing the leadership (yes, I wrote LEADERSHIP) of Coach Pelini and his staff at last year's game, I am sure that Nebraska will conduct itself in it's long standing tradition of class.
Go B1G Red!
