[Husker] Penn State

Kathy, I agree with you...'isn't membership in a conference meant to be more
than just about sports?'

The issue at hand is certainly much more than about sports. It is about the
integrity, leadership, and and honesty of some of the top officials at that
university. The issue at hand is related to the football program, but the issue
has nothing to do with sports. PSU didn't gain any apparent unfair advantage in
football due to the rape of many boys. (They perhaps did retain their head
coach.)

IF in near future the assumptions/claims being made now are proved to be valid
pertaining to the 'hush' of Sandusky's misdeeds, I believe there are valid
reasons to question whether PSU should remain a member of B1G.

I guess I get his point, but isn't membership in a conference meant to be more
than just about sports? I mean, all the talk about the academic advantage when
we joined the conference. If you want to have the discussion, shouldn't we look
at everything not just athletics? Just throwing out some questions.
