[Husker] Joe Paterno, 1926-2012

I think history has a way of evening out the long term judgement. In the
short term people will say what they say out of emotion, having an ax to
grind, stir up the muck or what have you.

Personally I don't feel entitled to judge the guy, but he probably was the
last of the mohicans in both good and bad ways. The last of the old school
coaches like Paterno, Osborne, Bowden are pretty much gone. Now they feel
more like short term contractors. Perhaps this in light of Kodak going away
we're truly seeing the change of times.
