As I said, I didn't say the visit was proof, although the fact that he was
committed for 7 months and never took any visits or even talked about
another visit until now certainly suggests something.

 

I said, "was very openly considering Notre Dame", meaning he said from his
mouth he was considering it.  In fact, his comments were very 50/50 leading
up to today.  Believe me, we had to recruit him all over again.

 

This was a BIG win for the coaching staff.

Does a visit imply a lot of interest?

 

If I were an 18 year old athlete and offered a chance to visit interesting
campuses, I would go. Heck, I might even contact the University of Hawaii
and express interest. LOL

know. He has never "decommited" ... Well, I guess he could be one of those
legendary "silent decommits"  :)
