It's true he never 'decommitted' but he visited and was very openly
considering Notre Dame up until this announcement (which he made to the
Rivals guys in an interview).

He made his decision many months ago, and has never changed it as far as I
know. He has never "decommited" ... Well, I guess he could be one of those
legendary "silent decommits"  :)
