[Husker] Westerkamp Weighing His Options

I never said he was a great passer, but he did have some pretty solid
numbers. Listen to the media, his mechanics suck (so does Tim Tebow's - I
just had to inflame it a bit more :-) ). He still gets the ball there, much
more successfully that most of the NU option QBs. Skylar's point about the
number of receptions for NU compared to ND shows as much the number of WRs
that NU played. The coaches were changing the lineup a lot to get the right
players in. A lot of people think Turner is the best WR on the team, but if
he cannot block, he is of marginal value. Quincy E can crush people but did
not get open. NU has to have WR that can do both or we end up like the TE
position last year, Cotton was in, it is a run, Reed, a pass.

Paul...now you have brought out the contingent that thinks Taylor Martinez
is fine passer. You've got one that wants to give you stats from the box
scores, and another that says to look beyond the box scores. (You little
whiner!)

TM is a grade C passer. That's all. And I am talking about
effectiveness....it gets worse if you consider style! :-)
